IGIS is Happy to announce revoking of its training wing.

Objectives of the Training.

• Understand the usage of various Geophysical Instruments manufactured by IGIS.
• Fundamentals of Geophysics and its applications
• Methodlogies using resistivity meters
• Lateral variations of Resistivity (Profilling) and vertical variations of Resistivity (Layered structure) / borehole logging for quality checking and identifying aquifer boundaries.
• Ground water, mining and mineral exploration , Geotechnical investigation, environmental studies using electrical resistivity methods.

* Resistivity surveys for water management studies like km Artificial recharge and rainwater harvesting channels and aquifer mapping, creating percolation tanks etc.

* Methodologies adopted for water management. Smart farming technology support tools.

Identifying the Water Scarcity areas/ finding sustainable source for better farming.

* Understanding the survey tools like GPS and GNSS receiver used for geotagging .

The sessions start with a time schedule of 30 to 45 minutes interactive session covering topic by topic for a better understanding.
