Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young, Henry Ford on my 5days trip to India this week, I visited IGIS offices in Hyderabad city to have a first hand experience of their water equipment and It was such an amazing experience. Field demonstrations of their equipment, resistivity meters, water level meters, well loggers, GPS etc were very educational. It was a pleasure meeting them, learning about their work and interacting with their technical team who are very knowledgeable, accommodative, hospitable and willing to share their knowledge plus experience. Also had several insightful discussions with Mr. Madhusudan, the managing director, who has 30 years of experience in the industry, about the future, the vision of IGIS equipment in East Africa, key strategies and latest developments. The water industry certainly does need a company like IGIS and a visionary like Mr. Madhusudan who can bridge the gaps in the safe water supply chain by delivering cost effective hydrogeological equipment.
