The climate change and variation in rainfall pattern
influence the change in the groundwater table in the
process people are exploring for new boreholes and
leaving the existing borehole unattended. There might be a
possibility of losing the data of such boreholes like its
depth, water column and so on, which may be of use in
feature. To overcome such a situation people come across
different types of apparatus and devices to measure the
same.
We IGIS in the field of Geophysical instrument
manufacturer, different types of resistivity meters
borehole loggers and water level monitoring devices.
Considering the need of such device IGIS has developed
device model: AWBHD, Atomic water level cum borehole
depth detector, which can measure the depth and the water
table of the borehole, further be used as a pump testing
unit for such unattended boreholes.
A pumping test consists of pumping groundwater from a
well, usually at a constant rate, and measuring the change
in water level (drawdown) in the pumping well and any
nearby wells (observation wells) or surface water bodies
during and after pumping.
To measure the depth of the borehole and its water table
To Monitor water level variations in observation wells
To carry out drawdown measurements during pumping test.
